As part of the final submission I produced the final design drawings for the group. This turned out to be harder then I thought it would be. Creating the drawings was fine but problems arose when I went to publish the drawings as a pdf file. The bim server was not allowing me to "send and receive" or move any files into the Publisher Organiser, saying that there was a "Database Commit Failure". So after talking to other group members for assistance, ended up saving the file to my PC then producing the pdf file from the saved file.

The model has been finalised now, and overall very happy with it. Have found it difficult working with a second modeller on the same project as we both had different ideas for how to recreate the existing design. However communicating, mainly face to face, with Daniel made it easier in some parts of the design process. The model may now be finished but i still have some work to do in aiding fellow group members in the drawings and rendered images.

Overall the model has so far progressed well, however there is a fair bit of work still to go before the model is ready for publishing. Yet sticking with the calender it will all be done on schedule.

Daniel and i have been separately working on selected areas, as seen in the images however each section is influenced by the other. This requires knowledge and communication between us two modellers. Work has mainly been on the surrounding decks and landscaping of the building.

In working with follow modeller Daniel, we have expanded the living and kitchen to include an external area. Through working together and communicating directly to each other we have achieved a new kitchen that abides to the theme of the building. This proved to be a slight challenge as we were both working on separate aspects of this site of the building; Daniel working on the exterior of the building and myself on the interior.

Have started to edit the existing BIM file. The existing decks have expanded and merged together to create one large deck on which the building exists. This is an attempt to create an open and free building design that follows on with the theme set down by the group.
