The group was very successful in all their allocated areas. The effectiveness of the communication protocols proved very efficient and well working. I feel my contribution as the project architect has been valued by the group, particularly the way it has involved and informed all members continually and equally. Also the way in which I could filter my help and contributions to the group in every way and at every stage in the process became very valuable - Initiating the project through the vision and presentation theme, designing the model changes, working on BIM and the website through to helping finishing the presentation images. The group functioned and from that, I think, a well executed assignment was achieved. I also think communications between, the meetings and informing were so crucial to this as well and feel my ability and readiness for the task which I had was fair.

As the last week approaches we have well managed and executed our completion plan. The issue has been raised of how much work and time is in the presentation at the end of the project. Discussing with Tim and as my position in project architect and manager, to oversee the development of the assignment and its successful implementation and completion, it has become necessary for myself to collaborate with Tim to achieve the desired outcome in the renders.

I believe this ability to oversee the progress of the project and recognise when and where the help is needed and actively become involved in this way is very effective and valuable to the group as a whole.

We have reached the stage to render our model. After discussing with Tim, it's been decided that Artlantis will be the most useful and effective means to present our final images. I thought about how our presentation options could be best utilised and again called a meeting to communicate the ideas with the group.
I think the contribution of these ideas at the right time, in collaboration with the rest of the group was very valuable to achieving our goal

Again, the facebook page proves to be greatly efficient and effective for our group communication, informing everyone at equal and necessary times.

After a well thought out and presented progress plan by the group, Ning came up with some valuable feedback. Our Website design was not functioning properly to communicate our project efficiently. I spoke with Jakeb Love that day, we then made sure that our vision and theme for the project would be represented in the visualisation of the webpage. The specific design of the site was resolved after some deep reconsiderations.
I felt this contribution to be of value because the effective display of our group assignment communication was primarily through our website. The resolution will be beneficial to all.

As project architect it was my role to establish and clearly communicate the actual changes to the model that would be made in order for our group to achieve the desired outcome. After learning how successful the group meetings are I called another to give our team some final considerations on design modifications before the presentation stages.

The effective communication of posting on the group website homepage meant that everyone had a reference point to go back to whenever things became unclear throughout the process. This was highlighted over the weekend when we where having issues on the modelling process. Any disagreements and confusion could be sorted out by referring back to this original conception. This is proving to be a valuable group contribution toward achieving our primary goal in submission.
It proved very beneficial and effective in holding these team meetings, I could easily organised either through face book Dingo Love communication page or via direct text/phone communication. In gathering everyone together at once it was very valuable to have group discussions and resolve any development issues, inform on the progress and share crucial ideas on the project. In this way the assignment could move forward successfully.

After establishing the right project to continue with in the BIM modelling assignment, (Daniel Rivers Sustainable house) I analysed the features and attributes of the house and relationships between connecting elements of outdoor/indoor and nature and humans. Seeing the potential for the life style that could be created, and the necessary changes that would be made.. I posted on the group home webpage explaining the vision and design theme straight away in order for the group to get underway and establishing a direction in which the project would take. Initiation of the idea was key and fundamental to the progression and successful development of the project to the group.

I created the face book communication page today, adding all the group members, making a secure and private communication point. Its effectiveness is already proven, as all group members have immediately seen the online invitation and Seeing the opportunity in contemporary communication methods and then utilising them for our group assignment, I believe is a valuable contribution.

After calling everyone in, We discussed what would be the best way forward with the Project. As project architect I made clear on a few key communication methods. 1) Facebook - a free and readily accessible communication resource. 2) BIM - use for collaborative co-ordination of model building. 3) Webpage - documentation and references for everyone to post and communicate roles and process. 4) Text/phone - Immediate organisation of meetings, sourcing opinions and direct communication to group members.

I believe that these methods will prove most effective toward the successful completion of our Assignment.
